Consistently accurate bullet, low cost and great company to buy from
This 400 grain poly-coated RNFP is by some measure the most consistently accurate bullet I shoot, regardless of other load variables, across all barrel lengths and all platforms. It's also capable of achieving impressive ballistic performance, (also) consistently generating more fps than any other 400-grain bullet I've tried -- and I've tried them all (well, all that are reasonably-easy to find in stock/online). With this bullet I was able to duplicate (or improve upon) DoubleTap's 400-grain hard cast load, which is factory rated at 1,800 fps out of a 8.375" barrel. Even though the best I've seen is from the DT load is just shy of 1,700 fps (in 6.5", 6.75" and 8.375" barrels), I found a combination of components -- using this TB bullet -- that delivered 1,757 fps out of an 8.375" barrel, and topped 1,700 fps in those same 6.5" and 6.75" tubes, all without any signs of excess pressure. This bullet -- like all of TB's poly-coated cast bullets -- also shoots exceptionally clean (but smokey, just like coated bullets from all manufacturers), it's super-reasonably priced, and TB's fulfillment speed is second-to-none. I've bought a lot of these bullets, and will definitely keep doing so -- you just can't go wrong with it.

Perfect for 500 JRH
Just got my new BFR 500 JRH. This bullet and a case full of H110 is exceptionally accurate. Long live the 500 JRH.

Excellent projectiles
I loaded these (400gr) bullets to be tested from my 4” S&W 500 magnum. I’m new to 50 cal but I was able to consistently hold tight groups at 25 feet. Very Accurate and the projectiles themselves appear to be very well made. I have experience buying coated bullets from other sources so I can say that TB is as good, if not better than the competition at a better price (and free shipping). Highly recommended!!
