500 grain
Very nice bullets. Only taken to 500 yards with vernier sights but very consistant and accurate. Will buy more.

Don't hotrod it!
I've been told by Travis that he has received complaints about this bullet keyholing on target. My experiments reveal that that's possible when over-stressing the lead alloy. In a Browning 1885 High Wall 45-70 I've dialed it back. With 40.0 gr. IMR3031. We're well below 25,000 PSI, probably no higher than 20,000 PSI. That rifle went from a bullet hose to shooting 1-inch groups at 50 yards. At 100 yards to 200 yards, I should be able to print small groups that would put the original Springfield Armory government load to shame and with a bit more velocity to boot. The original BP loads wiped out the bison herds. We don't need more oomph than that for short to mid range American game.

500 Gr cast bullets
Bullets appear nice and load well. Unfortunately they do not stabilize in my Henry X 45-70, half of them keyhole and make a hell of a noise.

500 grain FP
Very accurate bullet. Requires a large amount of compression even with a reduced powder charge of 60 grains of FFg or FFFg. And yes, I got my best results with both group size and velocities with FFFg. 400 yard groups of 5 to 6 inches using peep sight. Super fast shipping as well. Will be coming back for more.

Great quality
These are some of the nicest cast bullets. I love the powder coat. Great to load and even better to shoot.

45-70 poly bullets
Travis just makes great bullets. No sprue marks, no partial cutoffs, no slack pours...just slick and clean! I shoot a number of Sharps rifles and 1886 Winchesters and they all LOVE these bullets. Thanks Travis! customer for life.
